Lizzy was invited to speak to my Food and Culture course. I had assigned her article "On Colonial Nostalgia and Food in Fantasy Writing." She was great, and the students learned so much! I think what was most captivating for our class was her impressive knowledge about so many different aspects of food, and her ability to make connections to social, political, and cultural issues.
